Past Collaborations
Human Service Forum is a non-profit organization providing professional development training and certification to support Massachusetts's human service providers. Its membership includes more than 100 organizations and individuals. I connected with them through Catchafire, a volunteer staffing agency, to see if I could help.
THE ASK: Save money!! The Human Service Forum sought to enhance its digital marketing materials with compelling graphics, aiming to increase community engagement and attract new partnerships between local organizations, businesses, and political leaders. It also wants more opportunities to increase knowledge and skills through collaborative workshops. This is how it will remain sustainable.
THE SOLUTION: This project will save HSF $3,002, enabling it to offer low-cost membership. The branding, website, and marketing materials (social media) were outdated. Rebranding, a website audit with future-ready consultation, and new social media designs were developed.

THE ASK: When Joe Payne asked if I could refresh his family's company branding (they had not had one since 1904), I was humbled and eager to help.
THE SOLUTION: Establish the brand! Since the company had no color palette, font family, or logo, I established a soothing color scheme incorporating blues, greens, and greys. The new look was futuristic and did not look like any competitors. This design led to thefont family used in the logo, website, and print materials.
The rebranding refresh allowed Joe to establish a newly found family business that gave the company a polished and professional presence.

We have used it on the website, t-shirts, printing materials, and social media. Thanks, Gina!"

The Amazing Giants
From the small beginnings of being a sole stilt walker in 2011, Jessica Minshall (founder/owner) has grown a company with hundreds of costumes, dozens of employees, and over thirty different acts providing entertainment for many different kinds of events.
THE ASK: When I met Jessica, the Amazing Giants were beginning. Their WordPress site was clunky and unresponsive, with too much content for customers to absorb. On a small budget, she was a company of one, with many performers. They wanted to grow their acts, costume designs, and props.
THE SOLUTION: We rebranded using a circus theme (Big Top). From there, we began by making flyers, creating social media posts, and starting a new website. I also designed printed materials (emblems) they would later put on clothing and props. We then moved the website from WordPress to Wix, where it resides today. This was a much more accessible platform for Jessica and her company to market using SEO practices, and it had much more expansive elements and apps to create social engagement opportunities.

Kim Pheiffer Designs is a well-known interior design firm in Columbus, Ohio. They specialize in consultation, curating special engagements, and redesigning and refurnishing your home. Kim's all-woman business was growing, and she was obtaining high-quality clients and wanted her branding and website to support them. She also was expanding her textile designs which she customizes for her clients.
THE ASK: Kim's website was not very welcoming in WordPress. She did not know how to use the platform, and her webmaster charged her a high hourly price to update some photos.
This was a significant hindrance to her ROI. She wanted a friendlier platform that offered email marketing and SEO capabilities and an easier way to engage with it.

THE SOLUTION: I restyled KP Design's brand to a more formal, elegant look while keeping the same font style and gold-black-and-white color theme. From there, we began conducting a website audit and researching competitors to develop a strategic plan for the layout. Showcasing larger images and videos of the impactful home designs she and her team created was one of the highlights of the new site. As well as a bio for each one of the team members and a contact form that generated new leads for Kim to work with.
